British Interocean Group has established a joint venture with Baku‑based shipping company Green Line Shipping to expand its presence in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region, Report informs, citing the British company.
The partnership aims to combine the UK side's international standards, corporate governance systems, and technical expertise with the local experience and operational capabilities of the Baku‑based company.
The cooperation is structured as a strategic non‑equity partnership, with no merger or acquisition of the businesses involved.
The parties plan to jointly assess projects and determine implementation models in the areas of marine and offshore energy services, ship management, marine insurance, and integrated asset solutions.
Founded in 2007, Interocean Group specialises in providing integrated marine and engineering services, asset integrity management, and support to the energy sector, operating in 17 countries worldwide.
Its main areas of activity include integrated marine and offshore services, support for the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, engineering, asset integrity management, independent marine audits, surveying and subsea technical services, as well as innovative solutions such as inspections with the use of drones and digital twins of assets.
