The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has kept its forecast for Azerbaijan's daily oil production in 2026 unchanged, Report informs, citing the agency's August edition of the "Short‑Term Energy Outlook".
According to the EIA's updated data, oil production in Azerbaijan this year will average 550,000 barrels per day. Last month's figure was also 550,000 bpd.
In the third and fourth quarters of this year, oil production is expected to be 540,000 bpd. The July forecast for those quarters was also 540,000 bpd.
For comparison, oil production in the first and second quarters of 2025 was 570,000 bpd, and 560,000 bpd in the third and fourth quarters.
According to the EIA, liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan averaged 570,000 barrels per day in 2025.
