Discussions have been held between AzerEnergy OJSC and the World Bank regarding the overall progress of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration (AZURE) project, Report informs, citing the joint‑stock company.
The talks took place during a meeting between AzerEnergy Chairman Baba Rzayev and a delegation led by World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce.
During the meeting, the current status of the AZURE project components, future steps, and new cooperation opportunities were discussed.
Extensive exchanges of views also took place on the integration of large‑scale renewable energy sources into the grid in Azerbaijan and the prospects for further collaboration.
