In January–May of this year, Azerbaijan produced 20 billion 935.2 million cubic metres of natural gas, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee. Of this, 16 billion 305.2 million cubic metres accounted for marketable natural gas.
During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 0.1% compared to the same period last year, while marketable gas production rose by 0.7%.
Over the first five months of the year, Azerbaijan produced 11 million 60.7 thousand tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate. Of this, 11 million 33.1 thousand tonnes were marketable crude oil.
Compared to January–May 2025, oil production and marketable oil volumes decreased by 3.3% during the reporting period.
