Another online meeting was held between the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and Türkiye’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) within the framework of the 2025–2026 Inter-Forum Action Plan of the “Regulations” Working Group under the Azerbaijan–Türkiye IV Energy Forum.
In addition to specialists from AERA and EMRA, the meeting was attended by representatives from the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azeristiliktechizat OJSC.
The working group’s co-chairs from AERA and EMRA, Elmar Gulaliyev and Mustafa Yavuzdemir, emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and exchange of experience, noting the future prospects for continuous activity in this direction.
Afterwards, Ibrahim Ahmadov, Advisor to the Chairman of Azeristiliktechizat OJSC, delivered a presentation on the topic “Sustainable Heating and Energy Efficiency in Azerbaijan (Policies, Regulation, Practice, Challenges, Opportunities)”, while Shafa Suleymanli, Chief Adviser of the Hydrogen and Green Technologies Department at the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency, presented on the topic “Accelerating the Transition to E-Mobility: The Experience of Azerbaijan”.
During the meeting, participants’ questions were answered, and an exchange of views took place.
