“Azərişıq” Open Joint-Stock Company continues the renewal of the electricity infrastructure in the capital, regions, and territories liberated from occupation.
According to the institution, reconstruction measures carried out on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev have also covered the Jabrayil district. Immediately after the district was liberated from occupation, “Azərişıq” OJSC promptly carried out operational work, and on October 28, 2020, the city center was supplied with electricity. On October 19, 2022, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, the foundation of the 35/0.4 kV Digital Control Center was laid in Jabrayil city, and it was commissioned by the head of state on September 28, 2023.
For the electricity supply of Horovlu village, where resettlement is underway, double-circuit 35 kV Self-Supporting Insulated Conductors (ÖİN-3) have been installed, a 35 kV Distribution Facility (DF) has been constructed, and 6 modern-type 35/0.4 kV Complete Transformer Substations (CTS) have been installed in the village. Individual residential houses have been equipped with smart meters.
In accordance with the Master Plan, an additional 35/0.4 kV Transformer Substation (TS) with 4×2500 kVA capacity has been built and commissioned for residents relocating to the city area, smart meters have been installed, and 0.4 kV underground lines have been laid. In the near future, metal supports have been installed and double-circuit 35 kV ÖİN-3 lines have been drawn in the directions of Soltanlı, Fuğanlı, Mərcanlı, Şükürbəyli villages, and Khudafarin settlement, where resettlement is planned.
The settlements of Horovlu, Şükürbəyli, Khudafarin, Soltanlı, Sarıcallı, Maşanlı, Böyük Mərcanlı, and Karxulu in the district have been provided with high-quality and reliable electricity through 35 kV power transmission lines.
“Azərişıq” OJSC is also reconstructing the electricity infrastructure of Khankendi city. On May 9, 2024, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, the “Khojaly” substation and Digital Control Center were commissioned in Khojaly city. The 3200 kVA “Khojaly” substation and Digital Control Center are intended to ensure reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply to new residential complexes, agricultural and tourism facilities, and socio-economic infrastructure in the district.
10 modern-type CTS of various capacities have been installed in Khojaly city. Construction of 35 kV power transmission lines continues in the directions of Badara, Ballıca, Daşbulaq, Təzəbinə, Seyidbəyli, and Xanyurdu settlements. Currently, the 0.4 kV internal networks of these settlements are being renewed.
Work on laying 35 kV ÖİN-3 cable overhead lines to Shushakend and Khanabad villages of Khojaly is also ongoing.
In addition to ensuring citizens are provided with high-quality and uninterrupted electricity, “Azərişıq” OJSC is successfully carrying out the phased renewal of the electricity infrastructure across all regions of the country, with the goal of minimizing energy losses.
