From January to October 2025, Azerbaijan exported 803,374.35 tons of crude oil to Portugal, generating $430.73 million in revenue, according to the State Customs Committee, as reported by Report.
This represents a 20.08% decline in volume and a 31.75% drop in value compared to the same period in 2024. Portuguese imports accounted for 3.87% of Azerbaijan’s total crude oil exports during the ten-month period.
Overall, Azerbaijan shipped more than 20.754 million tons of crude oil and bituminous mineral-derived petroleum products, valued at approximately $10.850 billion, in the first ten months of 2025.
The country’s total foreign trade turnover reached $40.862 billion, with exports contributing $21.637 billion and imports totaling $19.225 billion.
