Azerbaijan transported 30.5807 million tons of oil through its primary export pipelines from January to October 2025, marking a 4% decline compared to the same period in 2024, according to the State Statistical Committee, as reported by Report.
The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline handled 74.4% of the total volume, carrying 22.7608 million tons — a 5.9% year-on-year drop.
Of the oil shipped via BTC, 85.1% (19.3691 million tons) originated from Azerbaijan, while 14.9% (3.3917 million tons) came from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Azerbaijani volumes via BTC decreased by 1.7%, with Central Asian oil falling sharply by 24.2%.
The BTC pipeline primarily transports crude from Azerbaijan’s Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG) fields and condensate from Shah Deniz, supplemented by volumes from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
