Kazakhstan has expressed strong interest in participating in the implementation of the Zangazur Corridor, according to Magzum Mirzagaliev, Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan, who spoke at the sixth annual Caspian Business Forum in New York, organized by the Caspian Policy Center (CPC) in collaboration with embassies of Caspian region countries, as reported by Trend via Day.Az.
Mirzagaliev highlighted the rapid emergence of the Middle Corridor as a major international trade route, noting that the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) presents fresh opportunities for regional collaboration. “We welcome the TRIPP initiative and are keen to contribute to the Zangazur Corridor to enhance connectivity along the Middle Corridor,” he emphasized.
Mirzagaliev also addressed Kazakhstan’s energy ties with the United States, describing the energy sector as the cornerstone of the country’s economy and bilateral relations. “We align with the U.S. energy priorities,” he stated, adding that Kazakhstan supplies an average of 24% of U.S. uranium imports and is committed to reinforcing its position as a reliable partner in nuclear energy.
