A number of steps can be taken in connection with the transition to green energy in the Nakhchivan the Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, said Carlo Beltrame, Director of Baker Hughes for Caspian and Ukraine Area.
He made the remark during the plenary discussions on "Exploration and Production Opportunities in the Caspian region" on the second day of the Baku Energy Forum.
He said that issues related to the transition to green energy in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan drew his attention:
"I have been to Nakhchivan and I can say that steps can be taken to obtain geothermal energy there. It is also possible to create opportunities for steam energy. In general, it is necessary to determine the area's energy resources by carrying out related work in Nakhchivan."
