The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Kazakhstan's National Company KazMunayGaz reviewed the possibilities of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation relations.
Report informs citing SOCAR that a meeting was held today between the company's president Rovshan Najaf and KazMunayGas Board Chairman Magzum Mirzagaliyev.
At the meeting, it was emphasized with satisfaction that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have developed successfully in all areas, including the energy sector.
In this regard, it was pointed out that the road map signed last year between SOCAR and KazMunayGaz creates ample opportunities for expanding relations.
The parties exchanged views on the fields of oil refining, transit, trade, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
