Azerbaijan discussed the possibilities of transporting electricity from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said.
Discussions took place today in Baku as part of the event “Prospects for the export of electricity from Central Asia through Azerbaijan.”
“The trilateral meeting of economy and energy ministers of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, in which we took part together with the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, was important from the point of view of diversifying economic and trade relations. We discussed the development of a partnership between our countries focused on renewable energy sources and the possibilities of transporting electricity from Central Asian countries,” Jabbarov noted.
