OPEC liquid hydrocarbon production will continue to rise, eventually reaching 46.1 million barrels per day in 2045. In terms of market share, this means OPEC production will rise from 34% of global production in 2022 to 40% by 2045.
At the same time, global production will reach 116 million barrels per day by 2045, an increase of 16 million barrels compared to 2022.
OPEC liquid hydrocarbon production is also projected to rise to 37.7 million bpd in 2028 as demand continues to recover from the pandemic, especially in the 2023-2025 period.
