Countries that are members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have invested more than $12 billion in the economy of Azerbaijan, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said during his online speech at the 1st Energy Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held as part of the "Kazakhstan Energy Week-2023/XV Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY" event, according to the Ministry of Energy.
Shahbazov, drew attention to the fact that Azerbaijan has invested $3.2 billion in the economy of SCO member countries: “Azerbaijan's trade turnover with member countries of the organization increased by 45.8% last year and exceeded $9 billion. The share of these countries in Azerbaijan's foreign trade was 17% last year.”
