The annual production of the Absheron gas-condensate field, located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, will be increased up to 4 times, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on X.
“We participated in the ceremony dedicated to the first gas production from the Absheron field. The gradual development of Absheron in alignment with our demand and exports, the plans to increase the annual production from 1.5 bcm to 6 bcm are important contributions to the energy security of our country and our partners,” he said.
