The US oilfield services company SLB (formerly known as Schlumberger) has announced a complete cessation of the export of technology and equipment to Russia.
SLB has announced the termination of the supply of products and technologies to Russia from all SLB enterprises around the world in response to the ongoing expansion of international sanctions, the company's statement says.
SLB, amid the conflict in Ukraine, suspended the deployment of new technologies, as well as new investments in Russia in March last year. Over time, the company expanded the restrictions, in particular, announcing a ban on deliveries to Russia from the US, UK, Canada and EU countries.
At the end of 2022, SLB estimated its Russian market at 6% of total revenue - about $1.7 billion.
