Opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of South Sudan in the field of sustainable energy supply and the energy sector were discussed today, citing the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
Today, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of South Sudan Deng Dau Deng Malek, who is in Azerbaijan on a visit to attend a ministerial meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement.
The meeting participants were provided with detailed information on strategically important energy projects implemented on the initiative and with the participation of Azerbaijan, as well as SOCAR's activities.
Within the framework of the meeting, an exchange of views took place on infrastructure projects, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.
