One of the goals of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) is to ensure the energy security of Azerbaijan and the countries of the region, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf said at the Human Resources Summit in Baku today.
According to Rovshan Najaf, in order to ensure energy security, it is necessary to use sustainable, rational and progressive technologies: "And to achieve this and confidently move towards the goals set, the most important and main of all resources are human resources."
"The development of human resources and human capital is an ongoing process. In the modern era, every person, regardless of where they study, must be in constant dynamic development, and participate in self-development training," he said.
Rovshan Najaf noted that within the framework of SOCAR's long-term programs for education abroad, a significant number of employees were educated abroad and are currently working in the company: "They contribute to the development of SOCAR with the help of their knowledge and experience."
