It takes place in Palic village on Serbian territory near the Hungarian border. It is attended by the presidents of the two countries Aleksandar Vucic and Katalina Novak, as well as the prime ministers Ana Brnabic and Viktor Orban and government members.

Belgrade previously agreed on the construction of a 128-kilometer section of the pipeline with an estimated cost of 100 million euros. The segment will be built between the Serbian city of Novi Sad and Aldjo in Hungary near the border.
