The State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources (SAARES) under the Ministry of Energy and with German company Siemens discussed the possibilities of using the high potential of offshore wind power in the production of green hydrogen in Azerbaijan.
The discussions were held within the meeting between the Agency's director Javid Abdullayev adn the representative of Siemens Energy company Yashar Musayev.
Abdullayev gave detailed information about the projects implemented in renewable energy in Azerbaijan. He talked about the application of hydrogen energy, the contracts signed with international companies in this direction, and the possibilities of using offshore wind power's high potential in producing green hydrogen in Azerbaijan.
Later, Musayev made a presentation and gave extensive information about the production of green hydrogen in the world, the methods of obtaining hydrogen in industry, and the projects and technologies planned to be implemented in this direction.
