Azerbaijan and China have the potential to develop cooperation in the field of renewable energy, Ji Yingfeng, doctoral researcher from the University of Cambridge.
"The renewable energy sector is also an important sector now that Azerbaijan is undergoing an energy transition towards a greener future with a larger share of renewable energy projects. China is one of the largest manufacturers of renewable energy equipment," she said, noting that countries have the potential for the development of this sector in the future.
She also stressed the growth of cargo traffic from China through Azerbaijani ports and the ports of the Caspian Sea and the generally warm relations between the countries.
