Issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Nebras Power on projects for the construction of wind power plants with a capacity of 100 MW in the Lachin and Kalbajar districts have been discussed, Report informs.
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, who is on a visit to Qatar to participate in the events of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), met with Nebras Power CEO Khalid Mohammed Jolo.
“An exchange of views took place on renewable energy projects envisaged in the territories liberated from occupation and plans to realize the wind energy potential in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. It was noted that joint plans with Nebras Power create opportunities for developing energy cooperation with Qatar and attracting investments in energy sector,” the report says.
The meeting participants also discussed issues of cooperation on the project for the construction of a gas turbine station with a capacity of 550 MW.
